ノンビールテイスティング
最近いろんな大手ビール会社がいわゆる
「ノンアルコールビール」を発売することに
しましたね。
正直は以前飲んだことあるが、
全然美味しくないっていうかマズイと思ってたけど、
最近ちょっと健康のために飲んでみることに
しました。
この間英会話の授業に生徒たちと一緒に
「ノンアルコールビールテイスティング」を
行いました。
４つの種類を試してみました：
１．サントリのオールフリー
２．キリンのフリー
３．キリンの休む日の０.００％
４．アサヒのW－ZERO
分からないように、缶のラベルを隠しました：
テイスティングの前に一番悪くないブランドはオールフリーだと
思っていました。 実際テイスティングをやってみましたら、
一番まずくないのは「B」だと思いまして、結果は：
当たり！
ちなみに、生徒達はあまりビールを飲まない人で、
一番良かったのは「A]、アサヒW－ZEROだった。
The other day I tried a little blind taste-test of
four popular brands of "non-alcoholic" beer with
some of my English conversation students.
The brands we tried were:
1. All Free (brewed by Suntory)
2. Free (brewed by Kirin)
3. Yasumu hi no 0.00% (brewed by Kirin)
4. W-ZERO (brewed by Asahi)
I had already tried all of these "fake" beers before
this taste-test and had thought that All Free was
"All Right" (not great, but could almost pass for real
beer), and the others were definitely NOT beer.
As it turned out, I was able to pick out All Free.
(Woo-hoo! Homer Simpson would be proud)
By the way, all three of my students, who are not
regular beer drinkers, chose W-ZERO.
